After recently relocating to Los Angeles from Indianapolis thekidauto has been working nonstop over the years to become an established artist. After the release of his second project titled “u know i, EP”, a project mixed and mastered completely by himself, he continues to add to his catalogue of music based on life, love, mistakes, growth, and heartbreak. On the track titled “pretend” from said EP you catch thekidauto at his most vulnerable yet diving deep into the details of a failed past relationship. On “me 4 u” thekidauto teams with frequent collaborator Just2Good, and Jeff the Chef for an r&b banger sharing the delicate intricacies of bedroom stories. Many of the songs on EP have additional production from thekidauto himself as well. During his very first interview at ‘Dash Radio’ thekidauto spoke on goals.
“Of course the Grammys and a set at Coachella, writing for others as well, but honestly I just want to have an impact. I want to have a positive impact on the culture. To get to a point where I'm good and can help others in their careers, that's something I'm really passionate about.”
On “2223” he proclaims “I do this for the art”. Many have begun to get behind him and support his story and vision, garnering comparisons to the likes of music megastar ‘Drake’ and LVRN's ‘6lack,' thekidauto continues his ultimate mission of sharing his life through music and paving a lane for himself in the ever so evolving music world.
